Governance

The Supreme Body of the Center is the sole shareholder – the autonomous organization of education "Nazarbayev University" which, in its turn, is under control of the Supreme Board of Trustees headed by the Leader of Nationof the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Sole Shareholder has an authority:

The Board of Directors has an authority:

  • To approve the charter and strategy of the Center.
  • To approve the order of property use of the Center.
  • To approve the Board of Directors membership of the Center.
  • To approve financial reporting of the Center.
  • To reorganize and terminate operations of the Center.
  • To perform other authorities and functions as per the Center’s charter.
  • To develop priority activity areas of the Center.
  • To initially approve financial reporting of the Center. 
  • To approve Executive Board members of the Center and its tenure term.
  • To approve the plan of financial and economic activities of the Center.
  • Other authorities and functions as per the Center’s charter.

The Executive body that administers current operations of the Center is the Executive Board, which deals with all the issues that have to do with decision making process of the sole shareholder and the Board of Directors.
